Ladies: Being Cute Causes Accidents
I'm Rahlita Thornton from the Thornton Esquire Law Group. And I want to talk to you about doing your makeup when you are in your car.
A Scary StoryI just heard a story from somebody. They were on the freeway and going probably 60 miles an hour themselves. That's when they saw a lady putting on her mascara with both hands, and using her knee, I suppose, to drive her car. She veered over into another person's lane, not this person's lane, but the other person's lane and caused that person to hit the concrete barrier in the median.
And the person driving the car and doing her makeup on the freeway going 60 miles an hour didn't even have a clue that she had caused somebody else to have an accident. That lady drove on, and she wasn't even part of the collision. But she had caused the problem.
Don't Be That DriverBefore you leave your home, go ahead and make sure you take care of your makeup needs. It is ridiculous for somebody to be on the freeway, using both of their hands to do their makeup and causing other people to have problems and suffer injuries.
I know you're trying to get to work. You're trying to get things done. But please, be considerate. Pay attention to the folks on the road. That is a story I really wanted to share. I wanted to impress upon the ladies to do their makeup before they leave their house instead of on the freeway.
